RIP: Well this is thoroughly depressing. It seems legendary fantasy/sci-fi artist Frank Frazetta passed away today. He was 82 years old.

Frazetta, who is perhaps best known for his Conan and Tarzan cover art, had a long and storied career in which he left his mark on everything from comic books to feature-length films. His iconic paintings will undoubtedly remain inspirational for generations to come.

He will be sorely missed.
